CONFERENCE – ABSTRACT AND POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

General Rules

  • Abstract Submission Deadline: 30.10.2026
  • Final Evaluation Date: 10.11.2026
  • Presentation Languages: Azerbaijani, Turkish, and English.
  • Presentation Formats: Oral Presentation or Poster Presentation.
  • Limitation: Each participant may present only 1 (one) submission as a speaker.
  • File Upload: Participants can upload "macOS" and "Windows" versions of their files to the system via the designated link.
  • Revision Policy: Text edits and additions are permitted until the abstract submission deadline. Abstracts submitted after the deadline will not be evaluated.

Abstract Formatting and Text Standards

  • Word Count: 250–300 words (excluding title and author details).
  • Keywords: 3–5 words.
  • Font Size: 9 pt.
  • Line Spacing: No extra spacing between lines; sentences must be written sequentially.
  • Language: Presentation slides must strictly be in English. Verbal presentations may be delivered in Azerbaijani, English, Turkish, or Russian.
  • Author Information: The author's full name, surname, and affiliated country must be stated completely.
  • Structure: Abstracts must be structured according to international standards under the following sections:
    • Introduction
    • Aim
    • Materials and Methods
    • Discussion and Conclusion

Oral and Poster Presentation Guidelines

Oral Presentations
  • Presentation Duration: 12 minutes presentation + 5 minutes discussion (17 minutes total).
  • Visual Materials: Presentations must contain a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 high-quality images.
Poster Presentations
  • Poster Dimensions: 70 × 100 cm (vertical/portrait format).
  • Content and Image Requirements:
    • The title and author information must be clearly displayed on the poster.
    • Introduction Section: Patient's age, gender, chief complaint, comorbidities, and habits must be recorded; a brief summary of the poster's content should be provided.
    • Treatment Protocol: Explanations must include at least 5 sentences detailing the step-by-step procedure.
    • Photographic Protocol: Intraoral and extraoral photographs reflecting before and after treatment clinical cases.
    • Legibility: Text, images, and tables must be comfortably readable from at least 1 meter away.

Abbreviation Rules & Submissions

  • Standard, globally accepted medical/dental abbreviations do not require explanation.
  • Special abbreviations must be written out in full upon their first occurrence, followed by the abbreviation in parentheses.
  • Upon submission, an automated confirmation email will be sent. If not received within 1 hour, check your "Spam / Junk" folder, then contact us at info@prosthodontics.az
  • Submitting duplicate entries of the same presentation is strictly prohibited.
  • All accepted presentations must be presented physically; personal attendance is mandatory.
  • If the registration fee is not paid within the designated timeframe, the presentation will be removed from the program.
